Baseball Season is officially open!
 
Last Sunday, June 4th, KVMBA officially opened the 2017 baseball season with our Annual Opening Day Festivities at Memorial Field in Quispamsis.
 
On hand to help us officially open the baseball season was our Major Sponsor for the 2017 season, Sun Life Financial.   Sun Life Financial is also the official sponsor for our Bantam and Jr. Mosquito Divisions for 2017.  With this major sponsorship, KVMBA was able to purchase 4 more brand new sets of jerseys for this season with a total of 15 sets of jerseys over the past 3 years!   Thank-you Sun Life Financial!
 
Also there to assist with the opener was our Home Run Sponsor, Teed Saunders Doyle, Accountants & Advisors. Teed Saunders Doyle donated $1,000 to be used towards the purchase of new baseball equipment.  Thank-you Teed Saunders Doyle!
 
Our Opening Day Doubleheader featured our KV Peewee AAA Red Sox taking on the Western Valley Shiretowners.  The Red Sox ‘stepped up to the plate’ and put on hit parade for the home crowd winning both games and scoring a total of 23 runs on the day. It was a perfect way to open the season.
