It was a cool and wet day, but the weather couldn't dampen the excitement on the field. After a beautiful rendition of O'Canada by local singer Payton Kirkpatrick, the kids took the diamond to play some baseball. Our Opening Day Doubleheader featured our KV Peewee AAA Red Sox taking on the Miramichi Peewee AAA Twins. It was a good start for both teams as they split the double header. Miramichi took the first game and the Red Sox rebounded to win the second. It's was a great start to the season for 'Summer's Perfect Game'. #OpeningDay2018 #LetTheGamesBegin On Saturday June 2nd, KVMBA will be hosting our Annual Opening Day Festivities.
